ALL players must check in at the Golf Shop before play on the South and North Course.
Proper attire must be worn at all times.
Each golfer must have their own bag and clubs. Rental clubs are available in the Golf Shop for a fee.
Alcoholic beverages consumed on the property MUST be purchased through The Hangar at Goodwin Park. Any outside alcoholic beverages will be confiscated.
Tee Times
All players must check-in and be registered with the Golf Shop/starter fifteen (15) minutes prior to their tee time. Goodwin Park reserves right to re-assign tee times for those not properly registered 15 minutes ahead of time.

Goodwin Park Golf Course reserves the right to pair single players, twosomes, and threesome at all times.
Pace of Play
The Pace of Play at Goodwin Park Golf Course is four and half hours for a foursome. Those playing slower than this pace will be subject to: skipping a hole, letting others play through, or terminating their round of golf. The Pace of Play policy is strictly enforced by the Golf Staff.
Resident, Senior & Junior Rates
To be eligible for a resident or senior rate (62 & older on or before August 1, 2023) a valid, state issued photo identification must be presented. A resident is defined as one who resides in either Hartford or Wethersfield. Juniors are defined as seventeen years of age or younger.
Advanced Group Reservations
Parties of eight (8) or more players booking in advance must reserve through the Golf Staff and may be subject to our Outing Policies.

Golf cart rentals will end 2 hours 15 minutes before sunset for 9 hole play, 4 hours 30 minutes before sunset for 18 hole play. Course hours are subject to change by the City of Hartford.
Rain Check Policy
Rain Checks will be issued in the event the golf course is closed due to heavy rain and/or lightning. Rain checks will be issued as a coupon redeemable for Greens Fees and Golf Car Fees as a percentage of holes not played.
Golfers are responsible for presenting coupon for redemption.
Golf Cart Usage
Golf cart rental will be up to 2 hours 15 minutes before sunset for 9 hole play, 4 hours 30 minutes before sunset for 18 hole play. Golf cart rentals are not available during Twilight Golf.
One must possess a valid driver's license to rent a golf cart. Golf car trental does not imply or grant unlimited access to the golf course. Guests abusing a golf cart or the golf cart rules will lose privileges. Each golf cart rental fee is for 1/2 a golf cart. If you are a single rider and there is another single in your group, you will be paired up.
Code of Conduct
Patrons of Goodwin Park Golf Course (including daily fee players, season pass holders, league members and outing participants can be asked to leave and face possible legal action or suspension from the golf course through authority from the City of Hartford for:
- Public intoxication
- Disrespectful/inappropriate behavior or language to staff or other patrons
- Violation of state/federal/city laws
- Intentional or blatent damage to the golf course and it's contents
- NO REFUNDS
